I getting ready to buy a central air condition unit for my house in south florida. My measurement are 1632 Sq.?
Measurement is 1632 Sq.Ft of A/C area for the house. How much BTU do I need.

- Get estimates from several well recommended air conditioning companies. They should be able to tell you what is needed. It isn't always a matter of square footage since the type of windows and amount of insulation also have to be factored in. New units are usually more efficient and that also makes a difference. We had a 3 ton Rheem when we lived in a 1400 sq. ft. house in Cutler Bay. It did a good job of cooling.
