Your housing situation? Vehicles? Jobs?

I should probably just put all of these questions together! I'll try to do that now instead of asking a billion more questions haha! These are just innocent questions to get to know some of you parents, since I haven't been on here in ages it seems. So many new people to me! Do you own your home or rent? Do you live in a house, trailer, apartment, ect? What kind of vehicle do you drive? What is your job? IF you have a spouse/SO/bf, what do they do? We rent the 3 bedroom house that we are in now. Our landlord is selling the house, and thankfully we've found another house to rent that is bigger and has another bathroom that what we are in now! We live in a house, and will be living in a different house lol I used to drive a really crappy Lumina. It's for sale (anybody want a car? get it out of my driveway!! haha) We have a 2001 Ford F350 at the moment and are looking for a vehicle for me. I can't decide between a fuel efficient car of some sort or a small SUV. I'm lucky enough to be a stay at home momma to my beautiful 3 year old little girl. I watch 2 other children in our home as some extra money on the side to use if we need it, and for my babe to have some friends to play with :)

  2. I like all these questions! lol We rent a 2 bedroom house. My husband has an Izuzu Rodeo and I have a Mazda Miata... we have basically traded vehicles now that we have a baby since I obviously can't put my son in my 2 seater car... It really sucks. I would love to sell the Miata and get a mom car... it's an 05 and I love it but we owe too much on it to do anything with it. The Rodeo isn't worth anything so we're stuck with that one. It does annoy me that I'm driving around the gas guzzler with hardly-working-AC while my husband drives around my pretty much new car. My job is taking care of my baby boy! SAHM's unite! LOL I also take online classes for college... My husband works fulltime as a technician at the dog track... great pay for very little work. He also goes to school fulltime.
  3. We own a home. It is in a nice suburban neighborhood. I really like it. We just bought it a year ago. I drive an 04 Corolla (bought it new in 03) It is a great. Hubby drives a Durango. I am a software analyst (degree in Medical Field, so much for that) Hubby is a Foreman doing HVAC work in commercial construction. We have an amazing 22 month old girl, Belle.
  4. We rent a one bedroom apt. We drive a 2002 chevy cavalier, my husband is saving for a car. I'm a stay at home mom but I take online college classes. My husband works as a cook for the military.
  5. We rent a gorgeous brick townhouse; two floors plus a finished basement. Two bedrooms; I only have one baby girl she is now almos 7 weeks old! We currently have a 2004 Grand Am SE; Midnight blue color. We are getting rid of it as soon as we can afford it. (This car has EXPENSIVE parts, especially since we have a touring pakage on it) My job? Homemaker for now! I really hope to go to Uni soon to become an ultrasound tech. My husband is a mill worker for a sawing company. Pays decent too, as long as our bills are paid and Zoe has all that she can need, we're good to go.
  6. We own our home (or are making payments to own it fully in the future, lol). We live in a trailer that we put on 2 acres of land that my Dad sold to us! I absolutely love it and totally get sick of all the trailer trash comments that are posted on Y/A! I drive a 2005 Scion Tc. He drives a 1995 Ford Explorer and a 1993 Mustang that is all souped up! I work as a teller at a bank. Andrew paints cars at a local auto body shop and is a member of the Air National Guard, hoping to get on full time in the near future.

Hub drives a dodge dakota and I have a new chevy cobalt What is your job? Baby grower lol sahm thank god. i probably make around 100,000 smiles a year. its a pretty proud line of work. IF you have a spouse/SO/bf, what do they do? Married to him for 2 years. works as a driller in the oilfield :)
  9. - We rent a 3 bedroom/1.5 bathroom house :) - We have two cars, a 2003 Hyundai Elantra that I drove in high school, my parents gave it to us when we got married which was super nice of them. He had a 98 Elantra that he drove until it died and then we bought our 08 Chrysler Town and Country minivan and LOVE it! So roomy and it will last us a while. We want four kids and figured we may as well spring for the car that will fit our family in the long run. - I am a stay at home mom to my 17 month old little man, and currently growing another little boy! I will be 28 weeks tomorrow, due October 14th! - My husband is a journeyman in the carpenter's union and installs indoor gym equipment (those mechanical basketball hoops and backboards, scoreboards, wall pads, curtains, bleachers that you can retract, etc.) Kind of random and specialized but it pays really well, when he works... It has been really slow lately because of the economy. There are only two or three companies that do this in northern california though so it used to keep them pretty busy :/ He is looking into going back to school to become an xray technician.

  12. We just bought our house. We are renting an apartment now because we moved on very short notice,but will be moving soon. I have a 2009 BMW 7.My husband has a 2010 Chevy Silverado. I am a stay at home mom for now. My husband is an anesthesiologist.
  13. We own our own home. We just refinanced and will have it paid off in 15 years! I drive a Honda minivan. I was an office manager for a psychiatrist, but now stay at home with the rug rats. My husband is an electrical engineer at a local power plant. Good questions!

In September we're getting a Jeep Wrangler or Chevy Aveo. The Chevy would be the smart choice as far as gas mileage but the Jeep is prettier lol What is your job? None, I can't get a job where I live. IF you have a spouse/SO/bf, what do they do? My husband is in the military.
  21. we are renting an apartment at the moment (saving for a house) I drive a 2003 Chevy Venture :) Love it my hubby drives a 2000 Alero I work in Healthcare (part time at the moment) :) Love My Job! My hubby is a manager @ walmart :) He Loves his job we are happily married w/3 children :)
