I need to know the best place to buy house paint in phoenix,az?

My husband and I just bought a house, our first =). We want to paint and I was wondering what the best place to get cheap paint is. Cheap in price not quality. I've looked at colors in places like Home Depot but haven't done much research in price. Any suggestions are helpful. Thank you.

1. The quick answer is..... it depends on what you want to do. (color, finish, etc) Good paint costs money. Lowes, Home Depot, etc all have decent prices on paint. You can sometimes find painting contractors selling extra paint on sites like craigslist..... but obviously you can only get what they have left over. Remember, flat white paint is fairly cheap. So you might want to buy "real" paint for a couple rooms and do the rest in white for now..... just to give it that freshly painted look. Honestly, I suggest doing a room or two at a time if you're short on cash. That way you can do a nice job without sacrificing quality. Make it one of your spring projects each year to paint a room. That way it's kinda fun and it doesn't get too expensive or overwhelming. Painting a whole house is a lot of work if you don't do it much!
