  1. Best advice - talk to a real estate agent. Especially if you have nothing to sell, a real estate agent will only be there to assist you. A few other websites: - www.remax.com - For Sale By Owner (FSBO) Also, remember that this isn't the ripe time for the market. The market opens in late spring around April/May.
  2. I would check Realtor.com. Almost every house that Realtors have available to them are on that site. If you dont see anything in your price range on there, the chances are your not going to find what you are looking for. You might have to change some of your criteria. A Realtor would be a big help in that sittuation. They are able to think outside the box and come up with things you wouldnt. Also if you are buying a property you are not responsible for paying there commision, the seller does. So if its free why not take advantage of the help. Its always best to have someone with experience in your corner when you are making such a big purchase. :-) Good luck!
  3. Realtor.com Craigslist.org Newspaper (check their online classifieds) Any free online ads in your area. Good luck!
  4. call 3 RE firms and seek ONLY a BUYER"S agent. YOU can find this price in almost every city in TX............ esp a fix up. i found 3 for sale just now; using realtor.com if i was moving there, I would ask a buyer's agent to find what I wanted. the seller will pay them at closing
