How can I deposit house rent in the court? An unknown person demanding rent forcibly. Kindly help!?

I am resident of old Delhi. The real owner is not coming for collecting rent but an unknown person has come and demanding rent. I am of the view to deposit the rent in the name of old owner in court but do not know the way. Somebody suggested me to send money order in the name of old owner at his address then deposit rent in the court. Can somebody help me out in this situation?
