  1. You need to tell us what state you are in and what county you are in - that way we can tell you what the laws are there. They change from place to place - sometimes not much and sometimes a lot..... I would say if you have a contract though that states how long you can live there, you need to tell the landlord that your aunt is lying and he needs to prove you violated the contract somehow. The burden of proof is up to him. However, if you had a wild party or did damages or something, that violates the rental contract, then he does have a right to kick you out. In most places he needs to give you at least 30 days notice, some places allow for 45 days or 60 days notice. I would ask your aunt why she is trying to ruin you, and remind her that she may need someone to take care of her one day when she is old ;-) Good luck hon!
  2. Any person can cancel a contract with 30 days notice. so once he says get you have 30 days to move out. Unless you prepaid for the 3 months in question.
  3. "Any person can cancel a contract with 30 days notice. so once he says get you have 30 days to move out. Unless you prepaid for the 3 months in question." This is completely untrue. What would be the purpose of having a 1 year lease if this were true? If you have 3 months left on the lease and you have done nothing to violate the lease, them force the landlord to stick to it.
