Which is the best way to find sale by owner real estate?
Real estate agents even though, they are making very good commission they are not always reliable or ethical so we are trying to find sale by owner properties. Which is the best way to find those? I know about craigslist but what are other options?

- try redfin.com and they are good!!
- Here goes.... http://craigslist.org http://www.fsbo.com/ & http://www.fisbo.com/ search your town and FSBO for example Google: "Philadelphia FSBO" drive around look for yard signs look for vacant homes, contact the owners search for other "for sales by owner" or deep discount real estate listing services, ie Googs: deep discount mls look for terms: lease with option, land contract, take over payments Go to local real estate investor groups and tell people what you want. - The way you state your question leads me to believe that you don't have very much experience in this field. If that is correct, my best suggestion to you is get a real estate agent to work with that you feel that you can trust, they are out there. This way, the "very good commission" that the agent is going to make if and when you do decide that you have found the right property, is very minimal. if this is where your concern is, commission, maybe your not ready to enter into the home ownership category. Go figure, 1/4 of the commission will go to your agent.......just imagine how much they can do with that 3 to 4k. Almost makes you want to go into that profession, don't it? In real estate, you are responsible for 7 years the information you report and don't report....so, I hope you are up on contracts. There is alot of stuff in there to read and understand, something that your agent will be able to explain to you. Real Estate agents earn their money. But if you insist, just do some research, you'll find some FSBOs.
