Green card holder having permenant work outside US and want buy house in US?

Hi All, I just got my green card in US but I am working outside US and I would like to buy house in US while I am working outside US. Is that possible?

1. Purchasing a home is not a problem but maintaining your green card status may be a problem and acquiring a loan may also be a problem.
2. You do not have to be a US citizen to buy property here. You are treated like a US citizen. Only thing you cannot do is vote. I am sure you have to reside in the US for a certain period of time to keep you visa valid
