about title for used car for private owner?
i saw a 2004 mazda 3 for sale for $3,200 this is from ebay 42,000 miles she said she will give me a 5 day inspection period if i dont like it i can return it back to her ith no money cost and she said she is not in the country right now, she have the car concealed in a truck to send it to me after purchase, she said she will send the title and documents to me. can this be a scam or am i too sensative??? i also went to carfax and checked everything, it is clean and no accidents, not salvaged everything as good. her feedbacks are 100% i orginal found this from craiglist and then she put it on ebay it has been pyment by VPP i dont think its a scam though if she did make a photocopy of the title would this is legit i just emailed her, she said the bill of sale and title is in the car that is concealed in the truck, because she is not in the country right now

- It's likely a scam. Don't send her a penny until you SEE the car in person. Ask her to send you a photocopy of the title, then verify the numbers with the DMV... IF she sends you anything. 99.9% sure its a scam.
- Because she is offering to deliver the car by truck, and stating a refund I would make sure EVERYTHING is in writing. I wouldn't trust a stranger over the computer though- it seems a bit strange that she would front the cost of all that if you don't like the car. Sometimes if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. I think I would just keep looking and see what I could find locally or search Ebay within a certain mileage range to ensure you can look at the vehicle first.
- Since that year, make and model with that mileage books out at nearly $10,000.00 something is very, very wrong. This does not smell like a bargain. The fact that the vehicle is being kept concealed indicates that it may be stolen. Don't do it.
