house hunting . viewing a house you like, seller says our dog won`t go up the stairs sometimes and just?

stands at the bottom and looks up and barks and barks... Would you think of putting in an offer or would you be put off. House is perfect.

8. no...strange dog. make an offer on the house contingent on a satisfactory inspection. if for any reason you don't like something in the inspection that the seller won't address if asked, you have a reason (and a few days) to back out. don't miss a great house because of a stupid dog or stupid dog training.

13. there dog is prob just old, I would not worry about it. But if you are really worried about it and you really like the house do some research and find out what the history of the home is

18. A haunted house , I lived in a house and all dogs reacted to the stairs barking as if someone was there . The ghost was often heard walking around and it did scare a few people . We on the other hand decided that it couldn't harm us so we kind of adopted it , we named him Jack and would shout up the stairs to him when he made a noise - "You don't pay rent so if your gonna make a racket you can get down here and put the kettle on!" in a very short time it was just accepted by all (we had a very open house) that Jack lived there to . I'd buy it but perhaps you could get a few quid off by mentioning the ghost .

21. My answer is ghost are powerless if you do not believe in them.
22. I'd put in an offer pending an inspection by a pest control expert. Their dog may smell or sense critters in the attic or inside the walls, etc.
23. Has anyone had the decency to actually try and talk to the ghosts? I have,but they never answer,which isn't surprising as they are manifestations of my disturbed psyche.
