What is the firt step if I want your house to be For Sale by Owner?

I want to sell my house by myself. But I don't know where to start. Do I need to register first in any specific agency before putting my house in the market? Thanks.

1. I spotted a book once on this topic either at books at million or barnes an noble. It had a disk with forms you fill out and print. All sorts of things. Worth taking a drive to your local store this weekend. /

3. I believe all you need to do is put a sign in your yard, "For Sale by Owner." There our agency's out there to assist- In my area (Idaho) we have Sell Equity and I think it is called For Sale By Owner. I think your best bet would be to Google your area and selling homes by owner. That should give you some key information that will be needed.
