Online House Hunting

since i can't afford an architect, should i use a drafting service or buy an online house plan if...?

i have a pretty clear idea of what we want and found a pretty close on-line plan for $800, all rights included on CAD dwg file. But there are a few modifications necessary: swap one bath space for the entry space; cantilever 4x12 to make den into bedroom, bump kitchen back 6 feet where pantry was, reduce pitch of valted roof, leave basement unfinished and open to any structural pilers necessary, change and add several windows and doors). it's in CA and all has to go to a structural enginere anyways. the big question is, with the extent of these modifications, should i buy the plan and get it modified by a drafting service, or should i just get the service to start from scratch? here is a link to the house: http://www.houseplans.com/plan_details.asp?id=27591
