How do you purchase vacant land, if its not necessarily for sale? How do you find the owner, if any ? ?

1. Carefully note the address or location then go to City Hall, there should be a record there and I don't think it is private information.
2. If you are interested in vacant land you should contact the owner and make an offer. To find the owner of the land you can talk to adjacent property owners or tenants. If the neighbors don't know the property owner then get an approximate address for the property and contact the county clerk. You may have to go through plate maps or other county records to find the owner. Good luck.
