What should we do? We have been house hunting with no luck...?
We want a house with another bedroom as my two girls are 5 years apart in age. We would also like another toilet. We cant seem to find a house with what we want in our price range (which is a bit above average). There is always something wrong with it. The lastest seems too small and no backyard for the kids to play in. It is really starting to bother me. Any advice? Has anyone been through this?

- About 30 years ago I looked at almost 85 houses before I found the one I wanted. Hang in there, keep looking. You never know what might come on the market tomorrow.
- There's something wrong with every house. You just have to pick one with things wrong that you can live with or afford to change. I'd suggest making a list of what you need and want in a house, in order of importance, and take it with you when you go to look at a house. In your case, you need 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a yard big enough for kids to play in. Those are non-negotiable and very reasonable things to need. Tell your agent to not even show you any house that doesn't have those things. Having a granite kitchen counter and stainless appliances are things you might want rather than need, and you can get them later. Keep looking. Your house is out there.
- The market is full of foreclosures in most areas. Interest rates are still very low. Have you tried to have a professional real estate agent search your area? An agent won't cost you anything and they have information on the area and the homes for sale. I would be happy to recommend an agent in your area.
