How can a 16 yrs old to buy a house/condo/apartment?

Is it possible for a 16 yrs old to buy a house or condo or apartment? Is there any law against it? Any caution for buying houses, what should he/she do? THANKS!

1. you can pay cash, or invest in a REIT, not sure how credit works if you're under 18. If you can't do it, my best advice would be to stockpile cash and learn as much as you can before you start.
2. presuming YOU have lots of money......you may buy real estate legally ONLY with the assistance of an adult. MOST Hollywood child stars hire an atty via their parents and they set up a trust that buys whatever.......... The child becomes the main shares holder. Upon reaching majority, the trust is usually eliminated and the assets conveyed to a private acct controlled by the new adult. UNLESS the child has a huge parent problem and he-she becomes --via court directive-judgment--EMANCIPATED. then, if a property seller will accept the emancipation, the child can buy whatever he wishes.
3. How? wait until you're 18 :D
