What can I do with property that I bought in Florida that is worth alot less than it is mortgaged for?

I bought 3 houses in Florida. Now it is threatening the house I own in New York. (my residence) What if I stopped paying the mortgages in Fl. Could they come after my house in NY?

1. How is it threatening your home in NY? Is that property additional collateral on the Florida property? If you stop paying the mortgages in Florida, you will screw up your credit at the very least. 3 foreclosures would be devastating. I can't imagine how long it would be before a lender would be willing to take a chance on you.
