Is it illegal in Florida to buy & sell houses for a profit without a real estate license?

Is it illegal in Florida to sign a contract to buy a house, then sell the contract to somebody else if you don't have a real estate license? What about if you buy a house, not to live in, but to quickly resell? If so, please elaborate. Thank you!

1. Yes, you can buy and sell a house and make a profit. You just can't be an agent without one. In fact, there are many agents that specialize in investor purchases and sales. fs
2. it's called "flipping", totally legal for anyone. no RE license needed.

4. If you own the house you can sell the house yourself, the profit doesnt matter, you dont need a license. I f you are just the agent in the sale of a house you do not own you definatly need a license.
