Online House Hunting

PSP Slim dilemma....?

I have a PSP phat system and I'm thinking of upgrading to a new PSP Slim....It's just that I don't feel comfortable spending at least 350 $ (the price is my country is a bit higher) on a new PSP, new card (my old one has 1GB of storage :( ) and a component AV cable. I don't have WiFi at home so I would probably use the PSP for gaming, video and music as well as a Media Center for my living room (using the AV cable).... I am thinking of installing a WiFi network in my house so I was wondering how is the internet on a PSP platform...Is it as fast as on the ipod Touch...how is the rendering....I am thinking of browsing web pages on my TV so I really need to know if it's quality browsing or not.... This answer could decide if I'm going to buy a Slim or an Ipod touch......which one is better for internet surfing...actual owners of devices are welcomed to post an opinion..

1. hello glad to help, i own both devices and i have to tell u the psp slim and ipod touch are great devices. the psp slim is a gaming console that can just happen to play music videos and surf the web. the internet on the psp is as fast as ur connection but its hard to type in adresses and some pages dont resize correctly. its allrite for surfin the net. the ipod touch, i think is a bit betta because its easy to input addresses and the pages are nice and the zoom feature is nice. BUT it cant play flash videos on youtube and such. and its only 8Gb or 16Gb depending on which 1 u get. the psp is expandable and the price is goin down so either 1 is good but one another is betta at things than another. but if u dont want either i wud extremely recommend the archos 605 wifi 160GB which is the same price as the touch. it has all the features of the touch and way more, just go to cnet.com for more info peace
