What time is it when an elephant sits on your fence .?
Well we all know about the panic in America that Realtors are in as housing sales have plummeted and prices have dropped . They are like enron touting how strong the market is and how it is growing . Look around middle America and see the number of homes on the market . 3 years ago the home ads where a single page and before you walked back into your house from sticking a yard sign out ,For sale by owner , three offers where on your door step . Today we have pages of ads and special offers to get people to purchase homes and things have been like this for two years now . Some people will call it a buyers market driven by an economic correction ,I call it a depression that is just getting under way .Bankers played with mortgages and got americans by the millions to buy into the dream of home ownership and now they have adjusted the rates and the special buy in plans have payments due that americans can not afford . Incomes stagnated rental evictions, foreclosures at an all time high .

- time to build a new fence.
- ITS TIME TO BUILD A NEW FENCE ! !
- The reason is that people were stupid. Many bought more house than they could afford with ARMs and now are getting butt raped by the changes in interest. Also, a lot of folks, Miami is really bad, went in as speculators thinking the market could absorb uncounted million dollar condos. Greedy investors have driven the prices up and up. Now we have the correction and it is not pretty. Myself, I look forward to the weekly foreclosure sale. Picked up a house for each of my daughters in the last 6 months.
- And you didn't even blame it on Bush!I'm impressed. I agree that lenders were very foolish to give loans with these adjustable rates and such but don't forget that they get screwed as well if the home goes into foreclosure. Of course if you think that's what they deserve for being so greedy I can't argue.
- Yes, after several years, it is now a Buyer's Market. Now is the time for people who want to own their own homes to buy. Markets fluctuate, which is good. It is not the end of the country.
- Think is price will be down and out of market price that they try to get ready all those people that will go to be able to buy a house. I had friend that had get the house and can I don't know why any of exile had sign in to terminate, Imprech like a early president I think is time to have new one to the congress to cover all are loss...
- Time to stop drinking what ever it is that you're drinking. Hey, I just looked around at middle america. I see growth. I see almost record lows for mortgages. I see full employment. I see a couple cars in many drive ways. I see a chicken in every pot and several chickens at KFC. I see americans with more leisure time than ever before. I see americans, even those that are supposed to be in poverty with TV's,Toasters, Micro-Waves and cars.I see americans starting new home businesses on record levels. I see those in poverty with puters, cell phones, ipods,CD players and stereo systems. I see americans calling their travel agents and booking cruises and trips at record levels. I see americans working their way up from lower income to middle income to upper income class. I see an america that produces more millionairs than all other countries combined. I see america as america is. One Hell Of A Great Country. Now on the other hand, you see america as a defeatist. You don't have the ability to see past your 2 shut eyes. I would bet, that you're one to sit on your butt and expect others to provide for you. Not, have the spirit to change things. I feel sorry for you and your inability to provide. Here's a quick course in changing your life. Get off your Ass and work 3 jobs if that's what it takes. Sorry to say though, you will just complain about what others have and want them to give it to you. A Sad commentary on a certain segment of our society. One that you're evidently a member of.
- A lot of Americans don't know how to manage their checkbooks. I might not be rolling in cash... but I know how to balance my checkbook, pinch my pennies, and stay afloat.
- It is called living beyond your means and is not the governments but more of a personal responsibility issue.
