Option To Buy A House Reimburstment?

I made a business to buy a house in Florida. I agreed to buy the house in one year (to be completed this July). It had been discovered that the site was used to explode jeeps by the army and there is a class suit from the owners against the army for that purpose. The value of the houses had declined in more than half. Someone told me that if I jump from the business now because of this I will be entitled to get my money back. What do you think about this? Thank you

1. If the work on the house has not started being built you may very well be able to get most of the money back. Call the builder immediately! Still, you might get stuck with buying the lot which will allow you to join the class action suit! Sorry for your bad luck.
2. Was the suit started before you bought the property or after. If started before that should have been disclosed to you, if it wasn't disclosed you should be able to get all your money back. You may need to contact an attorney. If it was discovered after you bought the land, jump on board with those suing the government.
