Can we have a family member who lives in florida buy us disney world tickets?

We have a cousin living in florida and we were thinking of having him buy us tickets to save some money and i was wondering after tickets are purchased do they check id cards for residency at the gate? We would have the tickets mailed to his house with our names on them.

3. Yes you can and it is cheaper this way. You may want to have him buy them with his name then mail them to you though. As far as I know they should only cost your cousin around $50.
4. It depends on which tickets they get for you. If it's an annual pass, then NO, they can't buy one for another person. If it's a particularly good deal for Florida residents--like the Play 4 Days pass they had a few years ago or the 3 Day Play pass from last year--then NO. They WILL check ID on most--if not all--Florida resident passes.
5. No you cannot do this any Fl disney tickets purchased require ID at front gates.
6. The tickets themselves may not have your names on them (unless that's changed in the past two years) but you will definately have to show proof that you are a florida resident or they will NOT allow you into the Disney Parks.
