how is the best and fastes way to sale your house?

I want to sell my house but I want to put it up for sale by owner. How hard is it to do that and what legal stuff is involved. Also where is the best place to advertise that does not cost an arm and a leg and will have a better chance of selling?

1. The best way to sell a home fast is to price it correctly. To high and you will be waiting forever in a bad market. Selling strategies have to be altered depending on the situation of the seller, and the local market, and the type of home.
2. sell your house by private treaty this is legal however you must notify your revenue commissioner . you can take out adds in your local newspapers . do out some computer generated listings of the property photostat them and post them on your local community notice boards etc good luck

Selling yourself you have to determine a competitive price compared to other homes in the area, how to make your home appealing to buyers, advertise, answer any calls ina timely manner, show the property, arrange lawyer, title insurance, surveys..
