A neighbor (and friend of mine) had bought a house here but then suddenly had to move back to Scotland due to unforseen occurence. She has asked me to look into the 'Quick Sell' companies for her since she can't be here in the States to mess with the agents and doing too much paperwork to get out from under it. She is well aware that she will not get market value for it and will lose money buy doing it this way - but is willing to go that route to save hassle and just be done with it. Building a lake house..... trying to sell a house....? We have a GREAT house now - it is beautiful. We want to build a house on a lake and we have the lot and a plan that we like. Our house has been on the market for 3 months and we took it off for the winter. It is now time to put it back on again. Any suggestions to get this house to sell quicker? Should we start building the other before selling this one? I was planning not list my home for any broker but would give my house sheets to all brokers in the area and if any agent or broker get me a buyer then I give them 3.5% commision for the buyer side but I will not use a seller agency.
