Selling my house: stage it or leave it empty? I have the option of staging my home (bringing furniture into my home solely for the purpose of making it look like a dream home) OR leaving it completely vacant as I will be moved out of my home when it's on the market. I would like to hear your responses as if you were house-hunting. Would you rather go into a home that is staged (with someone else's design taste) or would you rather see a future home empty and using your own imagination as to where your things will go? Maybe this will make a difference in your answer. My home is a townhouse that is less than 1000 sq ft.

I'm grounded and need a legit excuse to leave the house? I'm very grounded. But, I want to hang out with my friend tomorrow and go job hunting, but, I don't think my dad will let me go if he knows that's all I'll be doing. Is there a better excuse I can give him? I've already used the "I've got a project to work on at the library" excuse last week. Are there any better ones for a strict parent?

Leave after Pcs how would it seem after getting to duty station? How bad would it look if I asked for leave after PCS to my new unit? I believe I can not take leave in conjunction with the 10 days they give for house hunting. If I wait a week or two after settling could I put in leave. I have 25 days of leave and reporting to Hunter Army Airfield 110 Qm. we would take it prior to pcs but it is a lot of driving with 2 small kids and the possibility of icy weather.

Am I eligible for Air Force house hunting days? I know if you’re on a 365 deployment, you get house hunting days when you get back, since it is treated almost the same as a PCS. But I am only gone 190 days, so I had to keep my house. Two months into my deployment I was evicted since my landlord lost the house to the bank. Do I receive time for house hunting since I am homeless or do I have to use my R&R for that? I want to clarify that I am no dirt bag airman trying to score some free leave days. Brother won't leave house or get job. (Warning: LONG)? Here's the situation: My brother and I both live at home with my Dad at the moment, but our reasons why are extremely different. I live at home to reduce costs while I pay off some bills. It is also more cost effective for my father as I will often put gas in his car, pay for grocery trip, or snatch up one of his bills to pay now and again. My brother on the other hand, has no reason. He is 20 years old and will not leave the house unless he has to. My mother (who left a long time ago) blames my father, which I find hard to believe since the two of us turned out so completely different. Besides, she raised us too. Yes, my father spoils us. No, I don't think he made my brother a selfish, financially dependent introvert. He has always been a little different: got teased in high school, never pursued friendships, etc. August 2007: My Father presents my brother with an option, since he had been off school for a year and goes months without leaving the house. We even had to hound him to shower more than once a week. He absolutely refused to get a job. (And no, my Dad can't just "kick him out". We'd find him sleeping in the backyard or something.) Anyway, my father said: School or Job. My brother chose school, and my father paid for his tuition and books. He let my Dad pick his course, as he did not care what he took. He then failed it, and won't go back because he doesn't care about it. I've been in an outrage since because I *KNOW* what I want to go for, yet I don't get the offer due to my lifestyle. (IE. My Dad feels I can fend for myself) First question: Am I right to be bitter towards my father and brother about this? So fast forward to end of term this year: months later he's in the same situation again, and refuses to get a job. We have tried all sorts of approaches. I explained to him that work was much more satisfying than school, as it was kind of (?) similar, but with a paycheque. He is obviously not a people person, so I spoke to him about jobs where he could work alone stocking shelves. When I thought maybe I was taking the wrong approach, I tried to talk to him about other kinds. We also have to volunteer in high school to graduate, and told him that it was EXACTLY like that, but still, nothing. He won't go. I've been trying my hardest to do the nice approach, yet he just shrugs me off. Finally I snapped. Mostly because he takes a "doesn't involve me" approach, from family financial issues to even small things like: wash your lunch dishes. I have lost my temper at him maybe a dozen times in his entire life (seriously), but that day I had a good shout saying that he was an adult and should act like one, and that his food and clothing cost money. I got a little carried away and made a thoughtless quip about him waiting so long he'd turn into a 40 year old parent-moocher with not a lick of employment history. He did not understand that this was me insulting him. Not that he has planned it, but he has just ASSUMED that yes, he would stay home, unemployed, forever. We then decided to discuss what was going to happen when my Dad passed away, but this did not bother him either as he planned on inheriting the house. I asked him how he was going to pay the utilities, the property tax, and of course I get another dumb look. Now I know he has been exposed to this through high school, even college. How do you yell at someone when you realize they have absolutely no grasp of reality? I just am at my wit's end, and have no idea what to do. My Dad decided to act and take him out job hunting. It lasted about 30 minutes before they had to come home. My brother was having an actual panic attack (he started shaking, sweating buckets, and even threw up). He says no to seeing people about this problem. He says no to school. He says no to work. We want to support him, and to help him, but this can't go on. He constantly talks about what a terrible childhood he had, and I'm starting to think maybe he needs professional help? But again, he says no. I could understand if he meant his SCHOOL childhood was terrible, but he's saying home? Could something truly be wrong with him, as my parents have never been anything but supportive and understanding. When I point out circumstances, or show him pictures where he's laughing, he says he doesn't remember that. He only remembers the few times he got into trouble, and when he recalls them they are horribly exaggerated. My parents were never abusive. They never compared us to each other (no: Your sister gets A's type thing.). My second, and most important question, through this long story, is what should I do? Always on edge in marriage, house hunting, how not to worry? We just got married and an offer on a house might not work out, we may have to keep looking. My husband went house hunting first with his mother and never even invited me-- It was a sunday, I was home, he never even called me and saw no reason for me to go. I am nervous about this happening again, like him going with his mom and their friend and leaving me out... even though... its to be OUR house with OUR money! He is handling the downpayment but that is because I handled the wedding costs. I explained to him how much it hurt me that he went out with his mom looking at a house and didn't even INVITE me to do so, and he said ok I get it, I screwed up. But I worry this will happen again and to be completely honest it is causing me a lot of distress. What can I do? Even just to keep my own sanity? I can't keep living with this horrible feeling in my gut. I can't take it anymore... I feel left out I can't even handle him telling me he found or was told of a house by his mother/sister/mother's friend/sister's friend to look at because it's like no matter what any of them say, it could be a straw shack and he will think that because they suggested it that it must be the best thing ever, and if I dare to say "I don't even want to look at it," he will get mad saying I never like anything and he would just go with them instead... Military, excess leave while on terminal leave? So this has really been bugging me, and I thought that I would ask: I am on terminal leave from the Air Force. I started my terminal leave with a 30 day permissive TDY for house hunting (non-chargeable leave), the had 87 more days real terminal leave. Everything was signed off on by my command, I was issued leave numbers, and went on my way. Two weeks later I get an LES and see that I am being charged leave. I went to finance and they think they inputed them into the system backwards, and they would fix it. I am not having to wait a month to see if it fixes itself in the system. Now, my question: Worst case scenario everything goes to hell, and I end up getting charges 30 days of excess leave...what would that cost me? Am I correct in that I would simply have to pay back 30 days of pay and allowances? People tell me it's not that horrible--I am not AWOL or going to have to reenlist or anything...just expensive. Hopefully it will not come to this...but I am just wondering it anyone has gone through this. I hate that this stuff can't be fixed quicker. Thanks!! Aa question about a disabled veteran's hunting privledges? I'm a disabled veteran who is pretty much home bound. I would like to start hunting pigeons outside my apartment window since I really can't leave the house. This would also contribute to my monthly substance needs. Apparently wild pigeons are fairly good for you. What are my special hunting privileges, it's my understanding my licence is free?

Where should I start looking for apt/house rentals in rural/small-town areas? I'm thinking of moving out of the city, and am not quite clear on the best house-hunting procedures for places without things like daily newspapers, Craigslist, etc, etc. I have some idea of where I'd like to end up, but it's a pretty large area; too much to make it reasonable to only drive around and look for signs. How are apartments/houses in rural areas usually advertised? Should I check with the area's real estate agents (despite a lack of rental listings on what sites for same I can find)? Would seeing if I could leave a 'place wanted...please call' notice in general stores, community centres, etc, be a good idea? (I'm looking at the Ottawa Valley, just in case anybody reading this is local to me.) NB: this is in Ontario, Canada.

Is it normal that my 3 year old does not want to leave the house because he doesn't want to see strangers? My son freaks out when I take him to a place he has never been to. From the time we get there he just starts crying and keeps repeating he wants to go home. I try tell him that it is going to be ok and that mommy is there with him but he does not stop. Is it normal for a Barrd Owl to come right to the porch of the house to hunt? We have a cat we worry about? The owl appears every night , perches on the porch and has to be frightened off before he will leave. We have a cat and the owl has also been around during the day. How can I keep the owl from coming so close to the house. I think my blood pressure is too low? I never leave the house without having drank something or eaten, because when I do I always feel either faint or dizzy. My husband wont help me around the house even though he is home all day. How do I make him help me? Who else has had peple at their house refusing to leave? I told my friends they could move in last year and we could finish the basement and they agreed to pay me $400 a month rent and buy all the food since they get $600 a month food stamps. Well after a few months the plan failed (basements cost too much to finish) and they really were not paying me rent and most the food stamps seemed to go un accounted for . But they wont show me the new place (like even when I wanted to drive by it) and I see no signs of them packing....o and they still ask for LOANS AND RIDES! What if they DONT leave Saturday? They are not really tenants so I cant 'evict' but the police wont make them leave WITHOUT and eviction!

Terminal Leave/ETS-ing from Army? My husband is about to ETS from the Army, he has about 45 days of terminal leave, but we were wondering about something we heard about 10 days leave added on top of that for "house hunting". Does that still apply these days in the Army? And how do we make sure it gets taken care of? Should I leave my husband because he is a "mama's boy"? I'm 32, and my husband is 38 years old. We have an almost perfect marriage. He's a doctor and I'm soon-to-be pharmacist. We get a long so well and I feel like we are soul mates. The only problem is, he is a total "mama's boy." The problem is, he takes his mom house hunting with us and she doesn't agree on any house that we like. If she says no, my husband won't buy it. A few weeks ago, we found our dream home. How long after you submit an offer on a house and it is approved until you will have to move in to the house? We are house hunting and this is a hypthetical question, we have not yet submitted an offer but we think we may have found the one we want. We are wanting to move in the next few months, so if we submitted an offer within the next week would it be a while before we had to move? hunting (pest) squirrels. Is i legal to hunt squirrels that are in our yard that get into the house? we've had quite a pest problem since a tree grew next to our house.(on neighbor's property) it has brought a lot of squirrels into this house. Now there at there worst. They're making a lot of noise and probably destroying the house from the inside. Dropping nuts down vents and leaving feces all over. For the most part, they haven't come inside the house except from falling out of bathroom exhaust fans. Can i hunt them with a pellet gun or trap them? In the Book Twilight Edward talks to Bella about the forest by her house, did I miss the point to that speech? I'm confused, So Edward asks Bella not to go into the forest alone, and warns her he may not be the most dangerous thing out there or something along those lines: How does he know that she went in there, cause he was hunting? What was he refering to, cause the other Vampires don't come till later in the book, and the werewovles don't come till the next book? Why does he leave her alone in there in the beginning of New Moon?

My dog is very well behaved at home with me, but as soon as I leave she howls til I get back. PLEASE HELP !!!! I've tried leaving the house for a few seconds and then going back in and praising her for not howling, but I can't seem to get her to stay quiet for more than 5 minutes. I leave her the tv on, she has lots of toys, fresh water, treats scattered round the house for her to hunt out & she even has on old t-shirt of mine in her bed. There is an alarm system in the home, and the house is not totally secluded its in somewhat of a resort community with several thousand people. I'm trying to determine if I make it tough enough for them to steal, the effort may not be worth the pay-off of doing so. The flat-screen tv's and stereos in any vacation home are probably an easier and more attractive target to steal. Yet people leave these in vacation homes all over the place, so I'm wondering if its really that bad.

Why does my cat want to bring live mice in the house to kill? So, every once in a while my cat likes to bring live mice inside the house, so she can kill them in here. Why is this? I was told that sometimes cats try to teach their owners how to hunt, but I didn't get it from a very reliable source. How can I tell if my gecko is dead or hibernating? I found a wild baby gecko stuck in a glue trap a week ago. I was able to get him off the trap and unglued to himself using vegetable oil as instructed by many reptile specialists. He ate a baby cricket two days ago, but hasn't wanted to eat since. Last night he was trying to hunt another cricket. I had to leave the house and when I returned 2 hours later, he appeared very dead. He hasn't responded to anything I've tried to stimulate him with. He has not moved, and I cannot see him breathing. I am almost certain he's dead. How can I tell if he really is dead or if he is hibernating? I never keep wild animals. He had been given the opportunity to eat constantly with at least 1-2 live crickets in his box along with several live meal worms. My entire life has been dedicated to various animals including wild, zoo, and rare species. I just haven't had prior experince with a gecko. I don't know how to make this any more clear, THIS WAS A RESCUE OPERATION NOT A "GAIN A PET DAY" Please understand I am well educated, former veterinary technician, and professional horse trainer. I grew up rehabilitating wild animals braught to the Cincinnati Zoo. I also participated in the JZ program there. My life is entirely dedicated to animals and their well being. We should change this amendment to only people with the authority of having a gun have the right to bear and keep arms. Such people would be police officers, people of the army, bodyguards, and others that would be using this weapon for an advantage. This will decrease our crime rates and assure citizens full protection. For example, the United States has an extremely high crime rate compared to other countries around the world. In 2007, about one million people were hurt violently and 9 million were murdered. Also, many people abuse guns. In the month of February 2008, about six school shootings occurred. This makes students and parents feel insecure. To add on to that, a tremendous amount of shootings has happened in places you visit on a regular basis. Some citizens feel scared to leave their house! We have to add on to this amendment so our crime rates will decrease and security for our citizens will rise. In the other hand, many citizens will disagree with the idea of changing the second amendment to only people with the authority of having a gun have the right to bear arms. These people will argue about this change. Many citizens believe that they should have the right to own a gun because it is for their protection. Some want to have guns for hunting purposes. If you want protection, then ratify the change we made to this amendment. There will be less crime and that means you will have more protection and security. If you want to possess a gun for hunting purposes, you shouldn’t hurt the animal for that. This is why many animals are going into extinction. If we had to change the second amendment, it would conflict with other gun laws in the states. We would have to change our grace periods. We would also have to change the gun license and the age requirement. But before this, should Congress amend this law? There have been so many shootings, deaths, and violence. Why would you want to keep going on with this law if it causes so much trouble? This law will benefit us all and ensure us to a peaceful and safer country to live in. Transition PTDY is authorized for soldiers being released from active duty under conditions described in this paragraph. It is an authorization, not an entitlement. b. The purpose of transition PTDY is to facilitate transition into civilian life for house and job hunting for soldiers being involuntarily separated, retiring from active duty, or separating under the Voluntarily Separation Incentive (VSI) or Special Separation Benefit (SSB) program. Soldiers being reassigned due to permanent change of station (PCS) are authorized ten (10) days PTDY and will continue to comply with guidelines contained in paragraphs 5–31 and 5–32. My husband believes that if yo have a beagle (a rabbit hunting dog) for a pet it needs to stay outside and not get played with or interact as much with people like a house dog because it interferes with it's hunting skills. I hate my boyfriend's dog sooo much!? How do I change? My boyfriend has a Yorkie, 6 years old. He's constantly pacing the house hunting for my cat, attacking it and trying to kill it. Larger breed to be trusted around a smaller dog? I'm considering rescuing a large breed dog once I leave the house. Kind of a security factor in the sense of large dogs are intimidating. I already have a papillon *very, very scary, no?* So the big dog needs to be compatible, at least when I'm around to supervise. They'll both be crated when I'm not around. I'm seriously considering a great dane rescue. if i were to bring one home while he/she was still young I'd assume they could be trained to "playnice." Would my very outdoorsy cat be happy in a flat? We rescued a cat about 3 months ago, she walked into our house one day and never left since. Well she does leave, spends most nights and some of the day outside (we have a garden), but comes back every day. Now we are moving abroad and in a flat in the centre of town. Why do people have to build in every open space available? Across the street they are wrecking a house bc the owner sold it to some builders. There is all of this wildlife in the 2 acre area. I saw a family of 5 squirrels running aroung and bunnies eating the grass. There are also all of these birds. There homes will all be destroyed. And they need to cut the gas cables and all of that stuff. And the gas cable was in our yard and there is now 2 4 foot deep holes in our yard bc of the builders who only want money. Oscar was young and I always what my Life Easy,Fun and Relaxing. 1 day when I when to Sam Houston High School I have meet Great friend and Awesome Time . My Original Goal was to have great friend, Finish School, College and work hard to have a great life later in the age 23-25 date a girl . My Life Change when I meet a girl name Yuki Zheng Xiaoling in Taco Stand across Sam Houston high school. When I first meet her, she was the most Beautiful girl I have ever meet in my life (Like she shine brighter than the sun it self) . After that Day I search High and Low for her in in the hold school building for the next 2 week's . In still 1 day my/her friend told me and her to meet each other a place a "Game Club" that is the perfect place to meet Yuki . When the first time we talk we both were Shy and scared each other but we both have the courage to talk each other we both talk about Anime,Games,Hobby's and Art,(that same day Oscar did some silly thing that yuki ). later on that day. We cannot house break our 6 month old beagle puppy.? We have a six month old beagle mix puppy. We have had her home since she was 8 weeks old. We followed the books and took her out frequently, rewarded her when she went and ignored her when she had accidents. That did not work. We crate trained her. We found she would go all over herself. We tried that for a long time, and it did not work. We tried putting her in the crate only when we could not watch her and continued taking her out almost hourly. She will go outside use the bathroom, walk through the front door and go in the floor!! I am starting to think she is unable to be trained and that maybe beagle puppies are better left outside, or as hunting dogs. We have basically given up on her being a house dog and have built her a dog house outside in fenced area. Does anyone have any suggestions before we give up and leave her outside. Also, we move her into a garage at night to keep her out of the elements at night.

Should I leave him or try to make it work? I been with my husband for 8 years married 3 and we have a beautiful baby together. I'm starting to get and the end of my rope with him. He never remembers a holiday. Before I had the baby I worked full time at a very stressful job, he would have time off and I would come home to the house a mess. I almost died giving birth and could the man even get me flowers, help around the house when I got out of the hospital..nope! He never wants to spend time with the family, fishing and hunting is more important. There is renovations that need to be done to the house (not cosmetic, serious things like drafty doors) that has gone undone for 3 years, but he will help a buddy fix something any day of the week. On our wedding day he never even told me he loved me and got drunk at the reception. Sometimes I feel alone at all this, just like a single parent because he is never around. I've stressed my concerns to him, and I got how sorry he is and how he will try to make everything right and he never does. I try to leave so many times but he keeps giving me these empty promises that keep me lingering. I don't know what to do anymore? Am I picking on petty things and just leave it alone and stay, or should I leave?

Stop my cat from hunting birds? My cat is a 2 year old male and he has been neutered. But he really likes hunting. We got him a collar with a bell on it and the hunting stopped for a while. Hes started catching baby birds now. We tried keeping him inside for a while, but our house is directly in the sun and heats up easily. If we leave even one window open he escapes. I have heard of de-clawing but I wasn't too sure about that. Okay don't worry I won't declaw him. I only briefly considered it but he wouldn't suit the indoor life. It's a good thing I'm not squeamish, I was just worried about the birds. Thank you all for such wonderful answers. I guess we'll just have to make do with mulitple bells or something ^_^

Help Finding a Movie -Horror/Thriller? Okay, I saw this movie about fourteen years ago. The movie itself was probably made somewhere in the 80's (maybe late 70's or early 90's)-judging from the music and clothes. I remember a girl (maybe even several kids) incarcerated in the basement of a huge house and a small African-American boy trying to rescue her. The antagonists are an odd couple (a man and a woman) who appear "conservative" and somewhat normal, but of course they have these kids locked-up in their basement. Also, they dress up in leather (late at night) and own a big black dog, which is killed toward the end of the movie. There was a lot of suspense-the kid(s) try to escape from the house but the man of the house tries to "hunt" them down before they leave. The house seems to be heavily fortified. The music sounds a bit like Michael Jackson's "Thriller." Lastly, there is a scene I remember in which one of the kids makes it to the attic. Once there a big black dog starts to chase him. While this happens the man accidently kills the dog believing he was stabbing the kid. Please help me find the title of this movie!

Does meat eaters & hunters have the right to bash Michael Vick? You guys are HYPOCRITES! How do I attract deer to my new hunting spot? I recently moved into a new house that is surrounded by woods and I found two good trails and spots with plenty of signs of deer. I want to setup up tree stands for next year's bow hunting season but I don't want to mess around with these spots too much now because I don't want leave my scent around there and spook the deer. The spots I found are both under oak trees. I have noticed deer droppings, buck rub on some trees, and tracks. I laid down two bags of corn already. I was thinking about purchasing some Deer Cane to attract them. Will my scent from walking through there keep the deer away from now on? I need some help on how I should go about finding a perfect spot to put up a tree stand, what to look for and anything that will help. I am pretty new to bow hunting. Thanks

I placed 1 in my brothers trumpet case, another in the medicine cabinet, and another on the back of the coffee maker. Do you think it is a goof idea to do this? I would leave clues around the house. When obtaining a mortgage what specifics are needed? Now I am workin with a broker in my area and she took 3 weeks for being being so called pre-approved. Which I think really means nothing. She gave me an amount of 210,000$ to go out and house hunt with. Now there was no way to keep our rate from the lender due to my companions low credit score, so she just told us to go out find a property and then leave it in her hands. Now i must have told her a million times that I was on maternity leave, and when I went to her with a home I refreshed her memory and she was like...ohhhhhhhh i will have to figure this out. she said not at all to worry. now i am goin back fulltime to work in january and the house doesnt close untill November 30th so technically its only one month of me being on maternity leave. Will that make a difference? Abandoned farm house? i questioned earlier about an old abandond farm house. i have contacted the owner of the house shes and old widow that lives by herself. She talks in a voice that scares the hell out of me. this farm house has been abandoned for YEARS. the pictures were pictures of the family at christmas and other holidays all left behind. another scary thing was when i was in the house the door leading to the family room was pinned shut by a old chair. i moved it to the other side of the room . next day i went back and the chair was back infront of the door pinned. what would cause someone to just up an run off leaving all there belongings behind like that. is it ghost i dont know and its certainly not some one moving in that old house we would have seen them over the 12 hour days we spend there deer hunting. the barn is the same way. i sat in there one morning it was dark but i could just see. when suddenly i litterally saw a wooden chair go from one side of the room to the other.i belive its ghost

moving out of state leaving parents? OK so my husbands family all live in another state and we just visited them. I absolutely love it there and we even went house hunting there and found the perfect place. I get along great with his family and we could really afford this house compared to the real estate in CO. Will My Dad Leave Me?!?!? Im 14 years old with divorced parents since I was the age 5. My house blew up when I was four on Haloween night so we rebuilt our house. So after they became seperated. My dad has hated my mom ever since not only my mom but all imigrants since my mom is from Peru. One day it was snowing and my dad dident want to pick me on Sunday because of the roads. This is 9 years later and my mom has a boyfriend. So my mom offers to drop me of in a truck. My dad jumps to a conclusion saying it was her boyfriends truck...saying "I dont want my daughter anywhere near that man! I swear if that man hurts or touches my daughter I will hunt you down!" He was really pi$$ed! He said my mom cant have me near him with out his permission??? But my dad loves me and pampers me but recently my mom just got engaged how will my dad react? Will he leave me? Need HONEST advice..Am i wrong or right about this? Me & my husband have been married almost 12 years. He's a pretty decent man about 90% of the time. Today he left town with my in-laws (he's done this 3 times in a year) I'm NEVER invited to go with them. It really hurts me. Am i being selfish? & He can't buy anything without my father-in-laws advice & approval. Like: He took him house hunting when we we're buying our new home. He went car shopping and didn't invite me. He bought our appliances without me. He bought me a brand new Durango BUT i had no choice. (As usual) in the decision. I live a comfortable life but i'm unhappy.. I'm tired of feeling like i'm single. I usually eat alone, sleep alone & even go to the movies alone. I could leave *I own a Karaoke Company* but i don't want to because i love him with all my heart. Why does he put his parents first & me last? Am i a ungrateful brat by complaining? I have my own money but he doesn't like me spending it unless it is for something he approves of. Anyhow. What should i do? He tells me i don't like his family and he's kind of right i resent them for always taking him from me. We both work and are very slim on the time we spend together.. I tried inviting myself and his mother told me she just wanted him to go. She likes to spend Quality one on one time with him. I've been married to him this long and only see my in-laws on major holidays for a couple of hours. I sit in their home. Weird i know! but he works 70+ hours a week and so we only have Saturdays together... His parents wont come to our house because i have a cat and they hate cats.. Do you agree with me on this about Mike Vick? I can't believe the people leaving comments on radio shows and the internet basically calling Vick evil. We are both desperate for that, but.. 1) My bf can't leave his father on his own without any help, as he is very forgetful etc... 2) We can't start a family while living apart due to rumours in this very small town. 3) If we bought a house together, he would still have to go and make dinner, put his dad to bed every day 4) I can't move in with him and his dad, as I already have a son from a previous relationship, and it would be too much stress for his dad. Also, due to my upbringing, I have "house pets" - not acceptable to his father. Can any1 suggest anything?

What do you think about the new law on banning lead bullets when hunting, in condor range? This big ugly bird has screwed up a lot of us big game hunters!!!!!!! our government has passed a law that when hunting in the condor range, we must use steel shot or copper bullets, not cool!! for gas prices and everything going up in prices, the last thing we need is to be paying more for bullets!!! I have already purchased a box of this new kind of bullet and believe me it was not nice to my wallet!!!! How do I leave a man that is crazy? I have been knowing this man for 12 years, we were like best friends. We start dating April 2007, now he has become crazy. He has put his hands around my neck several times and threathen to kill me if the relationship don't work out. I know i can't just leave because i fear that he will do something to me if I do. He moved into my house so why should i have to move anyway? He clam he will leave sometimes but in the same breath tell me he is going to hunt me for the rest of my life, kill me, hurt my family."Basically if I leave his going to make my life hell. Drug house next door, calling the police/drug raids havent helped. What can our neighborhood do now? In the past 2 years my next door neighbor's house turned into a full blown drughouse for crystal meth, crack cocaine and possibly more. 24 hours nonstop fighting, drama, sometimes up to 15 different cars parked in a yard meant for two, at least 20-40 different cars in and out each day. Our neighbors have witnessed many things including screaming matches, drug addicts comin and beating down doors and garage doors, smashin things, beating each other up to the horror of innocent bystanding neighborhood children and elders, people stealing things from the house- including motorcycles, cars and even refrigerators- random gunshots in an otherwise good, friendly, quiet neighborhood. I think they even set up temporary drug labs in there because there's all types of druggies comin in and out with boxes of chemicals and different cars suddenly leaving after stuffing the trunk with stuffed backpacks and bags. This house has so many complaints from all corners of the neighborhood that the police take their time responding to complaints, even if theres violence. They took over an hour and a half to get here while one guy was gettin royally beat down by 4 guys, and was thrown out of the second story glass window after getting stabbed with a hunting knife multiple times. I feel the police are not much of a help at all anymore, i hate to think this way but sometimes i wonder if they are even on our side. My concern is for the children of the neighborhood who are exposed to all this. The house has already been raided by the DEA and FBI last April. These people are still here carrying on as if they arent doing anything wrong!!!! What more can we do as a neighborhood to get them out, in all seriousness? I know this is a problem in many places but this is a good neighborhood we live in and we dont know what we can do to help expidite these people out asap!
